MomMom Cares tells the story of a young boy who lost his grandmother, and the warm, positive thoughts he has whenever he sees rainbows.

Written by a mother trying to explain the death of her own mother to her child, MomMom Cares is an excellent book for other parents to explain the death of a grandparent, bereavement groups, counselors, and spiritual advisers like a priest, rabbi, or cantor.

Parents often have a difficult time telling their children that a grandparent died. Often, we can still feel the presence of a loved one after they are gone, and many see signs that their loved one is still around them.

TESTIMONALS

Love the book. The book is an easy read for a school-aged child, and well written for a parent to read to a young child to give a positive message after a grandparent dies. It is gentle, soothing and a calm way of conveying the death of a grandparent to a young child.

There is an excellent message at the end of the book and is not at all scary for kids to read.
